About Upgrade My Juicer
Most juicers are bought twice. The first one is fast and loud and takes fifteen minutes to clean, so after a month it lives in a cupboard. The second one is bought by someone who now knows what they juice, how often, and what they will put up with to do it. This site is written for that second purchase, and for the person who wants to skip the first.
The questions that matter are plain: slow or fast, how much prep, how much cleanup, and whether greens and celery are on the menu. The answers decide the machine. We lay them out, then compare the juicers people actually buy on what their makers publish: speed, chute, hopper, containers, what is dishwasher safe, what is in the box.
How the guides are written
We work from the manufacturers' product pages and manuals, and where a maker publishes no spec sheet we say the figure comes from the retail listing. We use the kinds of machine we recommend and say what we haven't run. We attribute yield and nutrient claims to their manufacturers. Our guides do not include our own laboratory measurements.
How the site is paid for
